Anu is a freshman from the Westford, MA (potentially) majoring in global health and minoring in WGSS. She enjoys writing about science and medicine, particularly topics relating to women’s health, and hopes to someday be an OB/GYN. In addition to Frontiers, she is actively involved in various volunteering activities around campus, serves as the marketing chair for WashU’s Representation Project, and spends whatever spare time she has catching up on sleep.
Kassandra is a junior from Houston, Texas, studying Cognitive Neuroscience and Japanese Language and Culture. She joined Frontiers to learn more about the St. Louis community and the health disparities that inhabit it. In her spare time she enjoys playing the cello, watching anime, and sharing photos of her dog Pablito with everyone.
Anhthi is a freshman from St. Louis, MO, potentially majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Medical Humanities and Healthcare Management. She enjoys writing about science and medicine, particularly topics relating to research within the medical community and controversial medical issues. Other than Frontiers, Anhthi is an active hospital volunteer and is a member of an anesthesiology research lab.
Lily is a sophomore from Bethesda, MD studying Chemistry and Earth and Planetary Science. She has been writing for Frontiers since the spring of her freshman year. She is also on the WUSTL Equestrian Team and enjoys hiking and cooking in her spare time!
Urvi is a junior from Pineville, North Carolina majoring in Global Health and Biochemistry. She joined Frontiers because she loves writing and medicine and wants to bring attention to inequalities in health. In her free time, she watches Jane the Virgin.
